Spirit of Survival marathon
Spirit of Survival marathon
Dave, David and Mitch run in Fort Sills Oklahoma on a misty course through a national park. David and I are a little over 4:05 and Mitch is a little over 2 hours 12 minutes. Good times for the weather and the hilly course we ran. There are no race pictures due to the wet conditions.
Before we run we visit the Oklahoma city bombing memorial which tugged at our heartstrings, and the national cowboy museum which was also very cool. We also saw a telephone museum which brought back memories of the old days. We eat at a great hamburger at the Meers restaurant and store and a super steak at Cattleman’s steak house. Both are worth visiting if you get to that area.
